re.alto named in top 100 energy start-up list

re.alto has been named as one of the SET100 start-ups, a prestigious list which celebrates the top 100 young companies that are driving the energy transition through innovation and digitalisation.

As one of the #SET100 Start-ups of 2021, selected by the Start Up Energy Transition, we are excited to announce that we will be pitching at the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue 2021, a leading international forum for key stakeholders of the energy sector!

Join us on March 18 10am to 12pm CET.  Click and register here for access.

The SET100 list is compiled by the Start Up Energy Transition, a partnership platform between the German Energy Agency and the World Energy Council. The list forms the first round in the SET Award, a global competition to find the five most promising start-ups and young companies with innovative business models in the fields of energy transition and climate protection. In the last four years, the Award has received more than 2300 entries from companies worldwide.

re.alto has been selected for the SET100 list under the category of Energy Distribution and Storage. Other categories for 2021 include Clean Energy Generation, Demand-side Innovation, Smart Mobility and Transportation and Quality Access and SDG-7.

Alexandre Torreele, re.alto’s CEO, said: “With applicants from more than 90 countries, re.alto’s selection is fantastic recognition of the great work that our team is doing in the field of energy data and digital transformation. We truly believe that energy data holds the key to achieving a zero-carbon future for our industry, and our API data marketplace is enabling straightforward, cost-effective access to that data for energy companies across the value chain.”

Having successfully made the SET100 list, re.alto will now progress to the next stage of the SET Award competition, the winners of which will be announced later this year.
